This quickstart will guide you to connect your essential tools and start investigating production issues with your AI agent in minutes.

Step 1: Access Your Instance

Navigate to your Ewake.ai instance using the URL provided for your workspace:
my-lovely-domain.ewake.ai

Step 2: Log In

Enter your credentials to access your Ewake.ai dashboard. If you don’t have credentials yet, contact your administrator or reach out to support@ewake.ai.
All three integrations (Observability Platform, GitHub, and Slack) are necessary to start the full Ewake experience.

Step 3: Connect Observability Platform

Ewake requires access to Datadog to retrieve monitoring data, logs, and metrics.

Datadog Setup

Log in to your Datadog account at app.datadoghq.com.

Hover over your name on the bottom left of the Datadog interface to access your organization settings.

In the My Application keys section, you need to create one API key and one Application key for Ewake.

Create an Application key with the following permissions:
apm_api_catalog_read,apm_pipelines_read,apm_read,apm_service_ingest_read,dashboards_read,debugger_read,error_tracking_read,events_read,llm_observability_read,logs_read_archives,logs_read_data,logs_read_index_data,metrics_read,monitors_read,timeseries_query

Create an API key for Ewake.

In the Datadog configuration modal, paste the generated tokens in the corresponding fields:
  • Datadog Base URL Enter https://api.datadoghq.com (https://api.datadoghq.eu for EU hosted instances)
  • API Key: Paste the API key you created in Step 5
  • Application Key: Paste the Application key you created in Step 4

Click Connect to finalize the integration.
Your Datadog is now connected! Ewake.ai can now access your observability data.

Step 4: Connect GitHub

Ewake require the Ewake GitHub app to access codebase and code changes.

Click on Authorize GitHub.

Check the permissions and authorize Ewake.

Once done, you’ll be redirected to the dashboard.

Now you need to give access to your organisation repositories. Click on Install Ewake GitHub App.

You will be prompted to install Ewake GitHub app on your organisation.

Choose the Repositories you’d like to give access to.

Install and get back to Ewake dashboard.
Your GitHub is now connected!

Step 5: Connect Slack

With Ewake’s Slack integration, your AI production agent works directly alongside your team in Slack. You can mention @ewake to get help on demand, or configure workflows so Ewake automatically shares insights and updates when needed.

Click on the Slack Connect button.

You will be redirected to Slack’s OAuth authorization page.Review the permissions and click Allow to authorize Ewake.ai.

After accepting the authorization, you will be automatically redirected back to the Ewake platform.
Your Slack integration is now connected!
