To get the most out of Ewake for proactive monitoring and scheduled analysis, follow this workflow:

Prerequisites

Before setting up this workflow, ensure you have completed the following integrations:

Configuration

Go to Scheduled Tasks Tab

Navigate to the Scheduled Tasks tab in your dashboard.

Create New Schedule

Click on Create New Schedule to open the configuration dialog.

Choose a Name

Enter a unique name for your schedule (alphanumeric, hyphens, and underscores only).This helps you identify and manage your scheduled tasks.

Select Frequency

Choose how often the report should run from the Frequency dropdown.Options include:
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Every N hours

Set Time (UTC)

Specify the time in UTC (24-hour format) when the scheduled task should run.For example: 09:00 for 9 AM UTC.

Add Mission Prompt

Enter the mission prompt that describes what Ewake should look for specifically.This is a required field that guides the proactive analysis.

Select Slack Channel

Choose the Slack channel where you want to receive the proactive insights.For example:
  • #monitoring
  • #alerts
  • #team-updates

Set Hours to Look Back

Specify the number of hours to look back for analysis.This determines the time window Ewake will examine when generating insights.

Create Schedule

Click Create to finalize your scheduled task configuration.
All set! Your Proactive Agent is now configured and will send wake messages according to your schedule.
